Make your own club at RHS

If a group wants to get together and start a new club, the first person to contact is the principal’s secretary Charlene Mumma, but do this only after finding a teacher to sponsor the club. The club should be sponsored by a teacher who is interested in the main objectives and interests of the club.

“They will be there to supervise any of the meetings you guys do [and] any of the fundraisers“ Mumma said.

Then, you must complete an application for approval of school activity form. If principal Dr. Jim Pritchett approves the request, then can begin to publicize the club.

“You can make flyers and posters to hang up that have to be approved through Dr. Pritchett or myself” Mumma said.

You are not allowed to have a Facebook page, but you can use MyBigCampus to send out information to the members of your club.

“By flyers, you can type something up that your sponsor approves. Then, you submit it to Dr. Pritchett, he says yes or no and then it can go on the announcements” Mumma said.
