The 2017-2018 wrestling season came to an end over the weekend. Four of the five wrestlers that Rolla sent to the state tournament finished with medals; including two second place medals earned by Coleman Brainard and Nate Pulliam. Both Anthony Sederburg and Zach Fennell finished third and took home the bronze. Overall the team finished sixth and became the first Rolla team to ever score that high in the tournament. The student body’s response was captured perfectly by senior, Laura McCutcheon.

“We are all really excited to support the wrestlers, they have all built on the examples set by those before them, and being able to make it to state is incredible. Recieving a medal is something they all should be proud of,” said McCutcheon.
