Volleyball Shutouts on Senior Night

On Tuesday October 5, Rolla’s varsity volleyball team hosted their annual senior night. Before the game, parents walked their graduating daughters across the floor. The student section held up enlarged cutouts of their varsity classmates’ childhood photos. 

Excitement littered the gym as the volleyball team prepared to play Parkview. More than once, principal Josh Smith had to scold the boisterous student section. Everyone was confident of the win they knew would come. Spike after spike, points were thrown up on the scoreboard in favor of the Bulldogs on their home court. 

After just three sets, Rolla defeated Parkview 3-0.
