Stop the shaving, folks

No Shave November is a tradition that most commonly is celebrated by men, but also celebrated by women. Men don’t shave their faces, and women don’t shave their legs for the entire month of November.

What most people don’t know, is why No Shave November is celebrated.

No Shave November came to be trying to raise awareness for prostate cancer. According to the American Cancer Society’s website about No Shave November, not shaving for the month of November will save the participants money. And the idea is for the participant to donate the money to cancer research. It also helps the participant embrace their hair, because many cancer patients loose theirs.
