On Feb. 8, the RHS girls basketball game against Waynesville gathered another big crowd to fill the new Fieldhouse. Brycelynn Swafford scored a three-pointer buzzer beater to close out Junior Varsity’s 34-27 win.
Seniors Kori Alcorn, Rylie Bales, Willow Gideon, and Resa Martin were recognized in between games. Hannah Bleckman, former RHS basketball player who graduated early to join the Air Force Academy, was recognized during Varsity’s halftime.
Varsity concluded the evening with a 67-51 win. The victory marks Coach Charley Parker’s 200th coaching career win.
