“This is my 26th year of teaching Spanish, and my 11th year in Rolla.”
How long have you been speaking Spanish?
“Probably since high school, I’d say about 40 years.”
How many children do you have?
“I have 4 children, 1 grandchild and one more on the way.”
How did you and your husband meet?
“We attended church together…”
How do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
“I don’t. In years past we have occasionally attended the St. Patrick’s parade.”
Why and how did you become a Spanish teacher?
“In reality, I went to school to be an English teacher, but continued Spanish because I like it. I graduated with a double-major in English and Spanish. I have taught from 7th to 12th grade and Spanish I-IV in five different schools.”
