On February 3, Bulldog Wrestling found success at the 2018 Ozark Conference Championship. The team took third place overall and had nine wrestlers place in the top three of their individual weight brackets. Freshman Nate Pulliam and junior Anthony Sederburg finished first while senior Coleman Brainard, sophomore Zach Fennell, and freshman Xander Sederburg finished second. Sophomore Dathan Mickem, sophomore Justin Briggs, junior Bryce O’Connor, and senior Lucas Lambeth finished third in their weight classes. The varsity team looks forward to competing at Districts this coming weekend.

Pulliam has been undefeated so far this season with a record of 42-0. He was very satisfied with both the team and himself at Conference and looks forward to the remainder of the season.

“The team did not do badly overall at Conference. We lost a few matches that we should have won, but the rest of the season should go fine as long as we focus on the details. Personally, I did pretty well. I had three kids, and I pinned all of them. I did not make many mistakes; I did what I planned on doing. I am satisfied with what I did,” Pulliam said.
